Rajinikanth’s entry jeopardizes Pushpa 2’s success.

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is set to be released on August 15, 2024, and it has enormous box office potential. Read on!

Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, is without a doubt one of the most anticipated Indian films. After numerous delays, the film has finally received a release date, and it goes without saying that the biggie has the potential to shatter all previous box office records. However, in recent days, we have seen how it has become surrounded by competitors. It was originally supposed to be a two-way fight, but now it’s rumored to be a four-way fight, with Rajinikanth joining the fray.

For those who don’t know, there was a rumor circulating a few days ago that Thalapathy Vijay would be joining the already scheduled clash between Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. According to reports, Vijay’s next film, The Greatest Of All Time, is set to be released on August 15th, effectively killing the Pushpa sequel’s business potential in Tamil Nadu.

The most recent Track Tollywood report suggests that Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth’s upcoming big hit, might face competition at the box office. Although the exact date is unknown, it has been learned that the creators intend to release in August. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 will undoubtedly dominate the Telugu and Hindi markets.

Pushpa 2 is a big film, and it would have been ideal if it didn’t have any box office clashes and debuted alone.

However, as of now, a clash between Singham Again and the Allu Arjun starrer has been confirmed and will take place. Nothing is official about Thalapathy Vijay and Rajinikanth’s films yet, and the competition may be avoided because they all have a large budget and a high box office potential.

Meanwhile, there are several reports on Pushpa 2’s budget. According to initial reports, the film’s budget was set at 350 crore. However, due to ongoing delays and reshoots, this figure is expected to exceed 500 crores, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever. Only RRR, Adipurush, and Kalki 2898 AD have spent more than 500 crores so far. So, if the rumors are true, Allu Arjun’s biggie will be the fourth film on the list.
