Today marks the 30th birthday of BTS singer J-Hope, also known as Jung Ho-seok. The singer is currently finishing his mandatory military training in South Korea. Fans from all over the world have come together on social media to share heartfelt wishes for the singer. As a thank you, the singer surprised them with exciting news about a documentary and a new soundtrack.
Earlier today, BTS’ official Twitter account posted about J-Hope’s upcoming documentary. It is titled ‘Hope on the Street’. The band’s official page even shared a few glimpses of what will appear in the documentary. Finally, the singer is shown wearing a blue and black hoodie and dancing to the tunes of his song. Aside from the documentary, the singer will also release a new OST.
Hope on the Street Release Date
The documentary and OST will be released in March 2024. BigHit has not announced an exact release date. But we’re only two weeks away from March. So, the Army won’t have to wait long to catch up on the documentary and song.
While fans can’t stop rejoicing over the singer’s birthday gift, many are wondering when he will return from military service.
When does J-Hope return from his military service?
On April 18, 2023, BTS singer J-Hope enlisted in the military training. He is the band’s second singer to join after Jin (December 2022). In May 2023, the Chicken Noodle Soup singer finished his training. According to the rules, one must serve in the military for at least 18 months. Currently, the singer serves as a platoon leader at the 36th Infantry Division Basic Training Center, where he trains recruits. His service will continue until October 2024. Fans will have to wait only eight months for one of their favorite South Korean singers to return to the music scene.
Meanwhile, all BTS members have enlisted in the military. Suga was enlisted on September 22, 2023, and Jin began training on December 13, 2022. Jimin and Jung Kook enlisted on December 12, 2023. By 2025, the band will be back together. Fans can’t wait to see their favorite K-pop stars reunite and deliver some incredible music!
