Salman Khan Gunfire Incident: Man Arrested in Galaxy Apartment Case Tries Suicide in Prison; Physicians Call Him Dead!

On April 25, Anuj Thapan was taken into custody for giving a gun to the gunmen who broke out into Salman Khan Galaxy Apartment!

The man who was detained in connection with the gunshot incident at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment made an astonishing attempt on his life while incarcerated. After being brought to the closest hospital, the physician attempted to save him, but he passed away from his wounds.

Anuj Thapa, who was taken into custody by Mumbai Police on April 25 in relation to the shooting incident outside Khandaan’s Galaxy Apartment, committed suicide, according to an ANI report.

The article went on to say, “Salman Khan residence firing case | Accused Anuj Thapan, who attempted suicide in custody, has been declared dead by doctors at the hospital: Mumbai Police.”

Anuj Thapan, 32, and another accused, Sonu Subhash Chander, are suspected of providing firearms to the two men who opened fire outside the Galaxy Apartments. However, the investigation has not revealed the cause of his suicide.

According to NDTV, a top officer from Maharashtra Police stated that the CID will examine all police officers at the police station.

There have been occasions where people committed suicide within prisons using a noose fashioned of pajamas. A police officer is always stationed in the lockup to guarantee that detainees do not escape and to monitor suicide attempts.

Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, two other males, were detained after CCTV footage of them shooting rounds at Galaxy Apartments went viral. According to reports, Anuj Thapan went to a toilet near the lock-up and took drastic measures.

He was locked up with ten other convicts. Four to five officers protect the lockup. Thapan was caught in Punjab following a frenzied hunt.

For the uninformed, on April 14, two unidentified guys, later identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, opened fire at Galaxy Apartments, sparking a commotion. Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence’s brother, accepted responsibility for the tragedy. However, Salman Khan never responded to it.
