Box Office: Salman Khan Will Continue to Be the Top Star Even If He Doesn’t Have a Release in 2024?

Salman Khan, like Shah Rukh Khan, will not be making any big-screen appearances and will retire from the box office in 2024.

Bollywood made a huge comeback last year with a number of hit films. Regretfully, this year’s biggest box office draw stars won’t be making an appearance on the big screen. Salman Khan is one of these names; he won’t be released in 2024. Nevertheless, the superstar may remain at the top of this Koimoi Star Ranking until 2025, when his next big thing is expected to arrive. To learn more, continue reading!

Salman Khan’s place right now in the Star Ranking

Salman Khan currently holds the top spot with a total of 2750 points. The fact that Bhaijaan has dominated Star Ranking for so long indicates how dominant he is at the Indian box office. He is undoubtedly not in the prime of his career, but even his poorly received films bring in more money than those starring major Bollywood stars.

Will Salman be too good for Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar to match?

Shah Rukh Khan won’t be making any big screen appearances this year, but Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn have a number of exciting upcoming films in their repertoire. Not one, not two, but several of these seasoned actors’ films are expected to be released this year.

In related news, Akshay Kumar is releasing the films Sarfira, Skyforce, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Welcome To The Jungle this year. While we don’t think any movie is worth less than its fair share, these four releases should give Akshay an additional 600–700 points, bringing his total to 2500–2600 points.

Regarding Ajay Devgn, this year he is releasing Maidaan, Singham Again, Raid 2, and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Remaining realistic, we anticipate that these four movies will give Ajay an additional 600 points. He would then have 2200 points overall.

As we can see, Akshay Kumar may continue to lag behind Salman Khan by 250 or 150 points even after several releases. It’s possible that Ajay will still trail Salman by a significant 550 points.

Salman Khan is clearly in control of this!
