Jr. NTR’s Devara song Fear is not as popular as Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. See the success of their debut tracks.

At the box office, the second half of 2024 is jam-packed with movies across India. Starting with Kalki in 2898 AD and ending with Indian 2: The Rule, Devara, and more. As part of the pre-release promotion campaign, Pushpa and Devara just released their first tracks. And who is the winner of this game, guess?

Pushpa 2: Music Is the Rule!

Pushpa Pushpa, the first single from Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated sequel, was recently released in Hindi and Telugu. The Telugu version of the song, penned by Chandrabose and composed by Devi Sri Prasad, is sung by Nakash Aziz and Deepak Blue.

Raqueeb Alam wrote the Hindi version of the song, which was sung by Mika Singh and Nakash Aziz. When it comes to viewership, both versions are on fire. The songs debuted on May 1.

Devara is lagging behind

Jr NTR’s first single, Fear, was released on the internet on May 19. Ramajogayya Sastry wrote the Telugu lyrics for the song, which Anirudh Ravichander composed and sang. Manoj Muntashir wrote the lyrics for the Hindi version.

Pushpa Pushpa vs Fear Views (First 24 Hours)

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Pushpa received 10.2 million views in Telugu, but performed even better in Hindi, garnering 13 million views in the first 24 hours. On the other hand, Devara’s Fear had 5.2 million views in Telugu and approximately 9 million views in Hindi.

Pushpa 2 VS Devara Songs’ Performance on All Platforms

According to M9, Pushpa Pushpa received 26.5 million views in the first 24 hours across all streaming platforms, with Devara trailing behind with 16 million.

Good News for Devara!

The opening match saw Allu Arjun’s song score 65% higher than Devara’s Fear, but there is good news for Jr. NTR’s film: the song did better in Hindi than in Telugu. This shows that the film has created enough buzz, partly because it cast actors from all around India. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in the movie, while Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to release on August 15 and will most likely clash with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again, while Devara will be released on October 10, 2024.
