Guntur Kaaram Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking (4 Days Left)

Guntur Kaaram, starring Mahesh Babu, will be released this Friday and is expected to perform well at the box office. Here’s a day one advance booking update!

The biggest festive season in Tollywood is just a few days away, and the box office will be completely chaotic. Not one, but five films will be released during Sankranti, with Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram making the most noise in the pre-release battle at the box office. Let’s see how things have gone so far with advance booking for Day 1!

Mahesh Babu makes his comeback

The Tollywood superstar is a huge crowd pleaser, and fans have been looking forward to his big-screen appearance. Mahesh Babu is finally returning to theatres after a one-and-a-half-year absence, having last appeared in 2022’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

Given his comeback, the producers could have given him a solo release, but it appears that the Sankranti festival and Babu’s star power will provide Guntur Kaaram with ample opportunities to shine. In addition, the film marks the reunion of director Trivikram and the actor, which adds to the excitement surrounding it.

Guntur Kaaram’s status in the advanced booking

Just a few hours ago, advance booking for Guntur Kaaram began at the designated locations. Only a few shows are currently listed, but the response has been overwhelmingly positive. At the time of writing, 107 Bengaluru shows are listed on online movie ticket booking platforms. Out of these shows, 18 are nearly full, accounting for 16.82% of total shows. Impressive!

In terms of the all-India response, Guntur Kaaram has grossed 66 lakh rupees through opening day pre-sales (as of 11 a.m.), with over 27,000 tickets sold. Currently, only the original Telugu version can be used to book tickets, and advance booking is only available in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha. Karnataka currently dominates pre-sales.

Battle for screen count

Apart from Guntur Kaaram, big names such as Nagarjuna, Ravi Teja, and Venkatesh, as well as Hanuman, are expected to arrive during Sankranti. So, it will undoubtedly be a dirty battle for screen count. Because of the high number of releases, no film will receive an adequate number of screens. As of now, it appears that the Mahesh Babu starrer will win the battle.
