Crakk Box Office Collection Day 1: Vidyut Jammwal’s Film Gets a Good Start With Rs 99 Ticket!

Crakk: Vidyut Jammwal’s film would have grossed around 3 crore if ticket prices had not been reduced.

Crakk made 4.07 crore in its first week of release, which was a good start. The mass-market movie was expected to do better in B and C centers, but the Cinema Lover’s Day ticket offer of Rs. 99 meant that many shows at multiplexes had full houses, which drove up the collections even further.

With regular ticket prices, the film would have opened at around 3 crore, which would have been a reasonable score, but the additional crore has ensured that the number of footfalls has increased, as has word of mouth.

That’s what makes the rest of the weekend so intriguing because it will now be down to what audiences have to say about Crak. A start has been made, and an increase in numbers from here will undoubtedly put the film starring Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi, and Amy Jackson on solid ground.

Ideally, the action entertainer would expect a weekend score of around 15 crore, which would require at least a slight increase in numbers today. Even otherwise, the masses begin to step over the weekend, particularly on Sunday, and thus a much clearer picture emerges by tomorrow.

The film does have competition in the form of Article 370, which is aimed at a class audience but may also appeal to the general public.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, on the other hand, is playing, but it is a core multiplex film with limited showcasing. Crakk does have a good number of screens and shows for itself, which gives it a solid foundation to continue consolidating based on word of mouth.
