However, on the day of BTS member Jungkook is 24th birthday, a billboard celebrating him was taken down in Pakistan due to concerns that it would encourage homosexuality among young people, breaking the hearts of his Pakistani supporters. First of all, homosexuality is not an illness with contagious symptoms, and secondly, BTS have not publicly identified as gay.

The incident happened on September 1, 2021, when a fan club of the incredibly popular group from Pakistan set up a billboard of Jungkook to celebrate his birthday.

When Younus Mughal, the owner of ARMY, argued with the MLA to have the billboard taken down, he was informed that there had been “a lot of complaints from people” regarding the advertisement, with many claiming the band has a negative influence on young people. “This city has young folks. They are negatively influenced by this group (BTS) and are encouraged to engage in inappropriate behavior. They encourage homosexuality, the local MLA said, according to Vice.

The majority of their music is co-written and co-produced, and the music videos for their tunes are a visual treat. Originally a hip-hop group, the group has grown musically over time. BTS member V just released his solo song, “Rainy Days,” which has a mellow jazz feel to it.
