The highest-grossing movie of all time was Marvel Studio’s Avengers: Endgame, which was released in 2019. Greta Gerwig’s fantasy comedy “Barbie’s box office” has surpassed the successes of the American superhero movie at the Alamo Drafthouse, the famed movie theater chain lauded for its in-theatre dining experience.

Variety says that the famed theater company, known for its in-theatre dining experience and strict no phones/no talking policy, hasn’t published the precise ticket sales data for both “Avengers: Endgame” and “Barbie.” Alamo Drafthouse did state that “Barbie” is now their highest-grossing movie, though. With a $2,799,439,100 global box office haul, “Avengers: Endgame” continues to hold the title of second-highest-grossing film of all time. (The highest-earning film is remains 2009’s “Avatar,” which brought in $2,923,706,026) Barbie has earned $1,343,695,173 at the box office as of this writing.

‘Barbie’ is currently ranked 17th on the list of all-time highest-grossing films, and it is certain to move up the list. Amazingly, “Barbie” has surpassed “Avengers: Endgame” to become the most popular movie of all time at the Alamo Drafthouse, marking yet another milestone.

America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell are all featured in Greta Gerwig’s movie in addition to Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
