The much anticipated Tollywood fight between Bhagavanth Kesari and Tiger Nageswara Rao has ended in a letdown. This is the second encounter between the stars this year; the first occurred in January, around the time of the Pongal/Sankranti celebrations, when Balayya and Teja sparred. On January 11, Veera Simha Reddy was released with great reviews; however, Waltair Veerayya arrived the following day and stole Balayya’s thunder. But when we look at the wider picture, we can see that both movies ended up being successful.
Regarding the most recent match, Nandamuri Balakrishna made a strong start by showing up early with his Bhagavanth Kesari. However, the release of Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao the following day reduced the number of screens in Balayya’s movie. Both movies had their moments of glory, but the substance was merely mediocre.
According to the most recent information, Bhagavanth Kesari has made about 66 crores net in its first eight days at the Indian box office. The movie has slowed down after a strong start, and it will be interesting to see if it stays in the safe zone or not. For those who don’t know, it needs to make roughly 57–58 crores in India in order to break even; at the moment, that amount is just over 40 crores.
