Animal Movie: Sanjay Gupta recently revisited “Animal,” the film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and shared his refreshed perspective. In a note on X (formerly known as Twitter), Gupta expressed his increased appreciation for the movie upon second viewing.
He particularly praised Vanga’s direction and Ranbir Kapoor’s performance, noting that the film’s writing and execution of each scene displayed meticulous dedication and effort. -Animal Movie
Sanjay Gupta, known for his straightforwardness, openly addressed his strained relationship with Sanjay Dutt during a conversation with Siddharth Kannan in January. When questioned about the rift between them, Gupta clarified that nothing inherently went wrong between him and the actor. Instead, he attributed the fallout to the influence of certain individuals surrounding them who fueled misunderstandings. Despite not communicating for four years, Gupta emphasized that neither of them publicly criticized each other. Despite the external pressure and rumors, Gupta maintained his silence, even enduring a professional lull for three years. He debunked allegations that Dutt had instructed others not to collaborate with him, affirming that Dutt never made such statements.
During the same interview, Sanjay Gupta also shared his sentiments regarding his strained relationship with Vivek Oberoi. Expressing his disappointment, Gupta stated, “I felt that Vivek Oberoi, at that particular time, showed ingratitude… We collaborated on the Shootout at Lokhandwala, and all the actors agreed to participate in Dus Kahaniyaan. However, Vivek was the only one who declined, citing that his career was progressing in a certain direction. Sanjay Gupta said to him, ‘Vivek, you’re doing this for me. I gave you a role in Shootout At Lokhandwala. I tailored this character for you.'”
