Right now, Vijay Deverakonda is occupied with promoting Family Star, his next film. The actor made waves recently when he said he wouldn’t work with inexperienced directors. His discussion about celebrity and their playing journeys with Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi also went viral. The Kushi actor has since made another significant comment regarding his ability to make a 200-crore film at the box office.
Vijay predicted in 2022 that the box office receipts for his romantic action drama Liger would surpass Rs 200 crores. It was a reply to a tweet claiming that the movie would receive Rs 200 crore for a straight digital release. Too little, tweeted actor Arjun Reddy. I’ll perform in theaters more often. Vijay Deverakonda continued, saying, “I have a lot of love for Geetha Govindam. I haven’t produced a better film than it, despite my best efforts. I also declared that I would make a 200-crore movie. However, that did not occur. Many questioned me about why I made such a claim. They thought my voice was haughty. It is incorrect that after making such a daring declaration, I was unable to make a 200-crore movie. I will undoubtedly produce a 200-crore film one day. I’ll be prepared to take the anger of people up until then. That’s a result of my self-confidence.
In the meantime, Mrunal Thakur plays the main part in the Parasuram film Family Star. April 5, 2024, is when the movie opens in theaters.
