Salaar, Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s joint venture, was a huge hit at the box office around the globe. When it was released on December 22, 2024, the movie brought in an incredible 615.26 crores. Gross receipts from Salaar at the Indian box office came to 480.26 crores. Even though the company made money, some local distributors lost money because they had to pay exorbitant prices for the rights.

Producer of Salaar Vijay Kirgandur got in touch with each distributor after finding out about it and paid them. The production team called them personally and covered their losses even though they didn’t ask for payment.
At a cost of 60 crores, Myhtri Movie Tickets acquired the rights to Salaar, but the venture proved to be profitable. The movie took in $8.9 million in the US, so even the distributors there made good money.
