Rumors have circulated recently that the film Rakshas, which was supposed to be directed by Prasanth Varma and starring powerhouse Ranveer Singh, has been called off due to creative disputes. Rakshas was a mythology-based superhero film set in the pre-independence era. The film was meant to be completed before Jai HanuMan, the HanuMan sequel.
In April, the actor of Don 3 flew to Hyderabad for a photo session to make a major announcement about the film. “Ranveer had traveled to Hyderabad in April for a photo shoot to announce the film,” revealed a Pinkvilla source. Even though everything has been planned, there is currently a stumbling block to the official announcement. Ranveer Singh will no longer star in Prashanth Varma’s Rakshas.
