Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 was set to collide with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again, but the latter has been pushed back from Independence Day to Diwali, giving Allu Arjun a solo release. In this situation, the magnum opus has the potential to make history by having the largest opening day at the Indian box office.
SS Rajamouli’s RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, is currently the highest-grossing film in India, having earned 134 crores on its first day. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion ranks second with 121 crores, while KGF Chapter 2 comes in third with 116 crores.
