Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty Review: Mr. Shetty Mr. Polishetty is a charming romantic comedy that is well worth your money. This is a fantastic comeback for Anushka Shetty and a hit for Naveen Polishetty once more.

Starring:

Anushka Shetty, Naveen Polishetty, Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatam, Nassar, Sonia Deepti, Jayasudha, Tulasi, Bhadram and others

Music Director: Radhan, Gopi Sundar

Plus Points:

The film examines a simple yet difficult idea, which director Mahesh Babu P handles expertly.

Anushka Shetty gives an amazing performance as Anvitha Ravali Shetty, a brave and realistic character who is afraid of marriage. She not only looks lovely on TV, but she also delivers a nuanced performance, completing an impressive comeback.

Naveen Polishetty demonstrates his talent once more in a job tailor-made for him. From the minute he arrives on the screen, his smart humor and wholesome entertainment capture the audience. He also handles emotional scenes skillfully.

Despite his tiny role, Murali Sharma gives an amazing performance, particularly in the pre-climax. The supporting actors play their parts well.

Aside from the performers, the film has excellent production values, with Gopi Sundar’s background score skillfully defining the scene.

Story:

Anvitha Ravali Shetty (Anushka Shetty) is a master chef located in London. She is determined to become a mother without marrying, so she selects stand-up comedian Sidhu Polishetty (Naveen Polishetty) as her pregnancy partner. Sidhu is naïve to her actual motives and falls for her, only to be astonished when it is exposed. Is Sidhu on board with her unique plan? Does he help her realize her ambition of becoming a mother? What motivates Anvitha to make such a life-changing decision? The film contains all of the answers.

Minus Points:

While the plot is straightforward and well-executed, the filmmaker could have sped up the second half.

The first half is a little sluggish, with a few superfluous scenes that disrupt the flow of the narrative. More emotional depth in the plot could have helped the audience connect with the characters.

Murali Sharma, Sonia Deepti, and Abhinav Gomatam’s characters might have been given more significance.

Rating: 3.25/5
