Reception of Lal Salaam

Lal Salaam marked Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial return after a long absence. Critics have given the film mixed to decent reviews since its release yesterday. Regarding audience feedback, it has been mixed thus far. In terms of pre-release hype, the sports drama trailed far behind, resulting in a dismal start.

Day 1 Collection of Lal Salaam

On day one at the Indian box office, the Aishwarya Rajinikanth-directed film earned only 3.50 crores in net revenue. A figure of at least 6-7 crores was expected because the film features a strong cameo by Thalaiva, whose previous film, ‘Jailer’, was a global blockbuster.

From here, Lal Salaam should aim for a score of more than 6 crores, and at least 8 crores should come in tomorrow to help him position for the weekend.
