Kurt Angle Names His Favorite WWE Rivals

Kurt Angle has shared the ring with some of the most popular and talented performers in WWE history. Angle revealed which of the many wrestlers he considered to be his favorite opponents while appearing on Dr. Beau Hightower’s YouTube channel.

“I really loved working with ‘Stone Cold’ [Steve Austin] and The Rock,” Angle remarked. They possessed remarkable microphone skills and were captivating. These were the things I was most proud of. The biggest names were those guys. Don’t get me wrong, it was an amazing experience to get to wrestle Hulk Hogan.”

Angle recalled being a Hogan fan growing up and his eventual surprise at making Hogan tap out on television. While those three were the first to come to Angle’s mind, the WWE Hall of Famer did recall a few more names from his career. Kurt Angle

“Brock Lesnar was fantastic. “We had a lot of chemistry,” Angle went on to say.”Chris Benoit was another outstanding performer.” Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guerrero were among the best. Another great one was Rey Mysterio. With him, I had a terrific time.

Angle became a pro wrestler after winning an Olympic Gold Medal as an amateur wrestler and made his WWE main roster debut in November 1999. Angle had memorable storylines with all of the performers he mentioned at the time. This includes matches against Benoit, Lesnar, Guerrero, Michaels, and Mysterio at WWE WrestleMania. Angle spent time in TNA and the independent wrestling scene after his initial run with the company ended in 2006, before returning to WWE for his Hall of Fame induction and one final run beginning in 2017.
