Kriti Sanon: A Decade of Development – Six Times She Showed Her Acting Ability

Kriti Sanon at 0 Years Old: From Robot to Queen – 6 Acting Performances That Show Off Her Skills

Back then, Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, and Shraddha Kapoor were the fresh sensations, while Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Katrina Kaif were the prominent ladies from the first decade of the new millennium. Much has happened in the past ten years, and Kriti Sanon—who proved herself in her debut movie—has emerged as one of the front-runners, surpassing the majority of them. These are her six greatest roles to date.

Bareilly Ki Barfi / 2017

Kriti Sanon demonstrated in this deft Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari translation of Nicholas Barreau’s The Ingredients of Love that she was much more than just a standard blazing heroine or a lovely damsel. She is a rebellious girl from a tiny village who aspires to a better life. Male chauvinism and outdated attitudes will not go over well with Bitti, her character. The question “Are you a virgin?” is one that she detests the most. She decides to flee her house, and her life transforms, upset that her mother disapproves of her stance and the ensuing single status! Sensing the meat in her part, Kriti fully committed to Bitti and then took her time weaning herself off of it; at one point, her sister even questioned her, asking, “What’s wrong with you?”

Panipat / 2019

It was Panipat who witnessed Kriti’s first historical performance as a genuine person—queen Parvatibai. However, in her own words at the time, “Once you start enjoying something, it becomes less challenging.” The only difficult thing, I believe, was always having to remind myself that I wasn’t living in the modern world. I had to deliberately avoid some of our more modern language and attitudes. Histrionically, Panipat was Kriti Sanon’s acting vehicle the entire time, even with a cast that included Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor, and other industry veterans.

2021/ Mimi

In this version directed by Dinesh Vijan (Kriti’s most devoted director), the Marathi film Mala Aai Vyaahchay!, which won a national award, is remade in Rajasthan. Kriti Sanon plays a surrogate mother who accepts pregnancy and motherhood because she sees it as a way to become wealthy and lead a glamorous life as a big-name movie star. Sanon also won a national award for Best Actress in this adaptation. Especially in the difficult scenes, Kriti exceeded her expectations and was just amazing. She demonstrated her extraordinary talent by skillfully navigating the intricate nuances of her role.

2022/ Bhediya

In a different Dinesh Vijan production, Kriti portrayed Dr. Anika, a veterinary surgeon who must treat a human patient but is just as perplexed by it as the average person! The role had romantic and comedic undertones, and it had a satisfying twist at the end to make up for the little amount of film she had. Like Mimi, Kriti was fantastic in the socially conscious movie. And it was at this moment that Kriti once again showed that she was a discerning actor who selected jobs based on factors other than glitz or cash!

Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya/ 2024

In this otherwise commonplace romantic comedy, Kriti played a robot flawlessly, making it one of her most demanding parts to date. Kriti was simply brilliant as Sifra, especially when her programming goes haywire in the second half of the film. She produced a fantastic performance from the start, especially during the pre-climax.

Crew / 2024

As one of the three heroines, Kriti faced a unique challenge: she was set against two formidable colleagues, Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who were a decade and 20 years older than her and both acclaimed mega-talents. It was as if her generation’s acting reputation was on the line, as Kriti went all out to compete against scene-stealing stalwarts. As a result, despite her unusual clothes in the film, Kriti stood out!
