Johnny Depp was unlikely to return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Fans, however, did not give up hope and waited for a miracle. Johnny might return for Pirates of the Caribbean 6; producer Jerry Bruckheimer had previously made hints about this. “Talented artist,” he said, praising the actor. Jerry said to Entertainment Tonight that he would like going back to the franchise, breaking his silence on the matter.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer of Pirates of the Caribbean broke his silence over the future of his successful franchises, including Top Gun, in a recent interview with Comicbook.com. It’s difficult to say, he remarked. You’re unaware. As it is, you have no idea. How they connect is a mystery to you. You simply are unaware. Because the star of “Top Gun” is a legendary and gifted performer. I’m not sure how many films he makes before he performs “Top Gun.”
“But we’re gonna reboot ‘Pirates,’ so that is easier to put together because you don’t have to wait for certain actors,” Jerry Bruckheimer continued. This seems to be a coded message for all of the fans of Johnny Depp out there who have been calling for his comeback to the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
A reboot featuring Margot Robbie was previously planned, but it was shelved. It is yet unknown whether the Barbie actress would star in Jerry’s recently revealed film.

As the majority of people know, Johnny Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard accused him of domestic abuse shortly after Disney fired him. In May 2016, the Aquaman 2 actress filed for divorce, citing abuse as her reason. She even succeeded in getting the celebrity subjected to a restraining order.
The repercussions were severe. Hollywood launched a boycott against Johnny, and he was removed from multiple movies, including Fantastic Beasts 3. He spent millions attempting to achieve a clean chit and was involved in protracted court fights.
Johnny Depp ultimately prevailed in the Virginia trial in his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard in 2022. The case was resolved for $1 million, but his ex-wife was sentenced to pay $10.35 million in damages.
Regarding his career, Johnny returned to Hollywood with the French film Jeanne du Barry. With Modi, he will shortly make his directing debut.
