Jawan is on track to surpass the 500 crore mark in Hindi in the shortest amount of time feasible. On Tuesday, the film saw a surge in ticket sales. This was also expected given that it was Ganesh Chathurthi, a half-holiday, and hence footfalls were going to be high.
However, anticipation was that they would be greater than Monday, which, shockingly, did not occur. The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer finished with a total of 12.90 crores in only the Hindi version, which is a fantastic figure for the 13th day.
In the process, the film has already surpassed the 450 crore mark, standing at 457.59 crores. This is a staggering sum that puts the picture on track to surpass the 500 crore milestone in only the Hindi language by Saturday. To reach the 600 crores mark, something truly amazing would have to occur, as Fukrey 3 is set to release on September 28th, and the film is already receiving positive reviews.
