In response to the Kangana Ranaut slap incident, actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee and her sister Rangoli say, “It’s not just about one person, but

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel slapped Kangana Ranaut, the recently elected BJP MP from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh, making headlines yesterday. The incident happened at the airport in Chandigarh. During the 2020 farmers’ protest, the accused female constable—Kulwinder Kaur—was overheard voicing her intense disapproval of Kangana’s contentious words. According to PTI, Kaur has been suspended, and a senior CISF officer has stated that an FIR against the female policeman is being filed.

Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who starred in the popular TV series Saath Nibhana Saathiya, has now expressed her support for Kangana, saying that his acts “represent a severe breach of public trust and security protocols.”

She went on to say that an officer on duty should never let personal grievances get in the way of their duties.

“Supporting the actions of this CISF officer means spreading unnecessary hatred and justifying a crime,” the woman continued. It is important to keep in mind that supporting such behavior creates a risky precedent that can enable others to exact personal retribution while posing as authorities. We need to denounce this action as a group and make sure that individuals in positions of authority are held responsible.”

“I implore everyone to think about how they would feel if a loved one experienced something similar. This is about the standards of behavior we demand from people who are entrusted with our protection, not simply about one person. “Let us advocate for fairness, objectivity, and a framework that prohibits personal prejudices from being present in our security forces,” she continued.

Additionally, Kangana Ranaut criticized Bollywood in an Instagram story, tagging them as “All Eyes on Rafah Gang” and stating, “This can happen to you or your children as well.” Be prepared for the day it comes back to you too, when you rejoice over someone else’s terror assault.”

In addition to Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel also shared stories on Instagram with the caption, “The reason I love Punjab so much is that even though my sister’s spine is made of steel, she will handle this on her own. But Punjab tera kya hoga. It was once again demonstrated that the #farmersprotest was Khalistani Adda! We must escalate this because it poses a severe security risk!

She said, “Remand pe lena padega isko…suspend karne se isko farak nahi padega…moti rakam aa gayi hogi khalistaniyo se…

Congressman Vikramaditya Singh, who was protesting Kangana Ranaut in Mandi, asked for action against the involved officer and described the situation as very regrettable. “It is unfortunate if these kinds of incidents are happening and should not happen to any person, particularly a woman,” he remarked in an interview with news agency ANI. That it was carried out by a security personnel is regrettable. We learned that the security guard had some unresolved issues over the protest by the farmer.”

Kangana Ranaut remarks regarding the event

Kangana said that she was slapped because CISF officers “supported farmers’ protest” and that the event occurred at the Chandigarh airport during the security check. In a statement, the BJP leader addressed the matter, stating that she was alright and outlining what happened.

“I’m getting a lot of calls—both from well-wishers and the journalists. I am safe and okay, first of all,” she declared. “As soon as I exited the aircraft following the security check, a female member of the CISF security crew who was in the second cabin approached me from the side and began hitting me in the face. The MP-elect stated, “She told me she supports farmers’ protest when I questioned her why she did so. She continued, “I am safe, but I am worried about the terrorism and extremism that are growing in Punjab.”
