Chris Evans responds to critical criticism by acknowledging that his movie “Ghosted,” which also stars Ana De Armas, “could have been better.”

Chris Evans, who plays a man who is dumped by his love interest, had an appearance in the film opposite “Blonde” actress Ana de Armas – Ghosted.

After being panned by critics, Chris Evans admitted that his film “Ghosted” “could have been better.”

The ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ star appeared in the Apple TV Plus action movie opposite ‘Blonde’ actress Ana de Armas, playing a man who is dumped by his love interest who turns out to be a secret agent.

He explained: “‘Ghosted’ to me felt like a movie that I grew up on, a movie that maybe we don’t see too much anymore, in an interview with GQ magazine, which is thought to have been conducted before the SAG-AFTRA actors union strike. And the question is: Have viewers outgrown those kinds of movies? Despite the fact that we did good in terms of viewing, I don’t believe audiences have outgrown it yet. I didn’t think so before, and I still don’t.

The reviewers weren’t fans. However, the movie is to blame more so than the audience’s interest. If done correctly, I believe the appetite is there. There was room for improvement.

In the course of the conversation, Chris Evans also reminisced on his time spent as a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, drawing a comparison between being an actor in the “Avengers” films and participating in a Super Bowl game.

You almost have the impression that you were just fortunate enough to tag along. It would be similar like winning the Super Bowl if Tom Brady hadn’t been there. I mean, you participated in the team. It’s not your triumph to claim, even if you did make a few brilliant moves. It’s fantastic that you’re a part of it.
