The movie Fighter has opened in theaters, but day one’s advance ticket sales were not very impressive!
Fighter, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, has completed its first day of pre-booking sales. The Siddharth Anand-directed film debuted on January 25, 2024, in theaters, and has so far gotten positive reviews. The total amount collected at the box office through advance booking is shown below.
As previously said, there hasn’t been much talk about the action drama. Even with celebrities like Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, the pre-release hype fell short of what was anticipated. The ineffective marketing plan was primarily to blame for the lack of awareness among moviegoers. But there isn’t much competition at the ticket windows, which is unquestionably advantageous!
Fighter Movie Box Office First-Day Advance Reservations
It was extremely unlikely that the action movie would have made more than 10 crores, given the current state of the movie. But there has undoubtedly been a significant increase from yesterday’s pre-booking sales. According to the most recent box office report, on day 1, Fighter brought in 8.60 crores in revenue (not including tickets that were blocked).
This represents a 64% increase over yesterday’s gross of 5.25 crores. Nationwide, more than 2.80 lakh tickets have been sold. While sales of advance bookings may not meet expectations, word-of-mouth will undoubtedly support spot bookings. And for Fighter’s debut day, that might be the game-changing moment.
Republic Day for the better
Republic Day is tomorrow, so it’s a national holiday. Thus, reservations for the evening and nighttime performances will undoubtedly increase. Fighter will have a five-day extended weekend at the box office, and there is a lot of room for growth if the early reviews are positive.
