The first four days of the film’s release brought in ₹2.75 crores [English: ₹2.5 crore; Hindi: ₹25 lakh], ₹3.8 crore [English: ₹3.35 crore; Hindi: ₹45 lahks], ₹4.05 crore [English: ₹3.5 crore; Hindi: ₹55 lakh], and ₹1.35 crore [English: ₹1.15 crore; Hindi: ₹20 lakh] in the fourth day. Early estimates state that on its fifth day in India across all languages, Dune Part Two brought in ₹1.40 crore nett. In India, the movie has made ₹14.05 crore (in Hindi and English) so far.

Regarding Dune Part Two

The film is the second part of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 book Dune by Frank Herbert. It follows Paul Atreides as he joins forces with the Fremen of the desert planet Arrakis to battle House Harkonnen. Starring are Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Rampling, Dave Bautista, Josh Brolin, and Stellan Skarsgard.

Forbes reports that Dune: Part Two is anticipated to bring in $200 million at the global box office on Monday. According to Bloomberg, Dune: Part Two had the best debut of the year with weekend ticket sales of $81.5 million in US and Canadian theaters.

As per the report, Box Office Pro researchers, who are affiliated with a trade group in the theater industry, projected sales of approximately $80.9 million. Warner Bros. Discovery Inc., the company that distributed the movie in collaboration with Legendary Entertainment, had more cautious projections of $65 million.

With $93.2 million in sales from the Eras Tour in October of last year, the opening is the largest since Taylor Swift. After a sluggish start at the box office, with North American ticket sales down 18% through February 25, it’s also the biggest opening of the year.
