Disney+ will debut Daredevil: Born Again in March 2025! Filming is over, and Charlie Cox revealed that the project has just concluded, despite some production setbacks in 2023. Post-production should be easy peasy, and guess what? Plus, there’s a sleek new logo!
Why is there a delay in Daredevil: Born Again?
In February 2023, Daredevil: Born Again filming got underway in New York City, but the same year, the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes put an end to the project. Marvel Studios realized during that time that adjustments were necessary and acted quickly to implement them. Following his examination of the footage, Kevin Feige took action, appointing head writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman as well as the remaining directors and deleting all previously shot video, resulting in a total reconstruction. So do not panic! With a fresh cast including writer Dario Scardapane, directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, and producer Aaron Moorhead, Born Again made a comeback in January 2024.
Does this affect any of the earlier entries in the franchise?
The previous Netflix and Marvel series, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders, have been formally incorporated into the revered timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as part of the revamp, with “Born Again” picking up where Daredevil left off.
