Working on Nayak 2?
It was a box office success in 2001. A cult following for the movie has developed among viewers over time. The film’s director, Milan Luthria, will helm a follow-up directed by Siddharth Anand, according to a new Pinkvilla article.
Siddharth and Mamta Anand will produce Nayak 2 under the Marflix Pictures banner. Like its predecessor, this picture, which Milan Luthria is directing, is a large-scale commercial production with a political theme. With a strong subtext of being a vigilante movie, the directors have uncovered a premise that naturally leads towards a Nayak sequel, an insider-informed Pinkvilla.
“Siddharth Anand is eager to start the path of creating a unique vigilante-based action entertainer now that he has reunited with writer-director Jodi from Milan and Rajat together for Nayak 2. Aside from the action scenes, Nayak 2 is a drama and dialogue-heavy movie, and casting has already begun. A prominent A-Lister is anticipated to join the movie, the insider said.
