The fourth Aranmanai film was released on May 3rd and received a mixed bag of reviews from critics. In terms of its theatrical run, the movie has already surpassed all previous franchise installments in terms of box office receipts, having recently topped the 70 crore mark.
Both reviewers and viewers have complimented Tamannaah Bhatia’s performance, which has contributed to the popularity of Aranmanai 4. And the actress received a meritorious remuneration in exchange for that. It is reported that Tamannaah was paid between 4-5 crores for the part of Selvi, while the precise amount is unknown.

Its gross international earnings of 70.77 crores enabled it to surpass Dhanush’s Captain Miller’s lifetime total. For those who are unaware, Captain Miller generated a lifetime revenue of 67.99 crores. It will soon exceed Ayalaan, the lifetime collection of Sivakarthikeyan, which brought in 76.41 crores of money worldwide.
