Review of BTS: Yet to Come: What’s the story?
The final performance by the seven-piece South Korean boy band as a unit was BTS: Yet To Come. Why was this one unique? for several reasons. Three years had passed since BTS last performed in Busan, during which the COVID-19 Pandemic also occurred. You might be shocked to hear that the band performed for free to support Busan’s World EXPO 2030 bid.
The band’s announcement two days after the show that all of its members—RM, Jin, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, V, and Jungkook—would enlist in their country’s mandatory military services accounted for the third reason. It must have been amazing to see over 55,000 people sing along with the band while they were unaware of their break.
Review of BTS: Yet To Come: What’s Good?
It’s reasonable to argue that BTS is one of the world’s most gifted musical groups. The band has transcended all linguistic boundaries. Additionally, they constantly switch up their musical styles, showcasing their unique talents, rather than sticking to just one. Their line-up served as the ideal illustration of BTS’s wide range of talent.
The seven members, who were dressed to kill in black and grey, kicked off the show with their upbeat song Mic Drop. Run BTS and Run came next. Jimin, Jungkook, V, and Jin took the stage and performed a few songs, such as Butterfly, Zero O’Clock, and more while introducing themselves to the crowd.
By consistently applauding the band, ARMYs made sure to steal the show even when they were in the spotlight. The stadium was the purest purple thanks to the glowing ARMY bombs. They were incredibly energetic and did everything in their power to show the seven boys how much they loved them.
Their passionate exchanges revealed BTS and ARMY’s unending love for one another. ARMYs made sure the band members were having a great time by cheering for them, even though they were trying not to cry.
BTS: Yet To Come had a beautiful visual aesthetic, even though concert films can be challenging to capture. Everything, including the camera movements and sets, was excellent, not to mention the performances.
Review of BTS: Yet To Come: What’s Not So Good?
It’s a concert movie, so nothing too horrible about it. The film, intended for BTS fans, accurately illustrates the reasons behind the band’s global appeal. You will see why all the excitement is so great, even though BTS members had to overcome numerous obstacles and trolls to get to where they are now.
They are legitimate performers with unbounded talent, not just singers, rappers, or musicians. The septet never skips a beat, and their movements are consistently perfect and on time. Fans watching the band on OTT would have been in for a treat if they had performed for a little while longer.
BTS: The Movie Review: The Best Parts
Since Jimin was performing in his hometown of Busan, the concert held there held even more significance for him. When Jimin sang and danced for his home audience, his enthusiasm was unmatched. In addition, the Face singer celebrated his 27th birthday on stage with his bandmates just two days before the show.
Jin was another member who was very emotional because, at the time, the Army was unaware that he was the first to enlist in the military. Jin broke down in tears as he gave his final speech to the crowd.
The songs “Dynamite,” “Boy With Luv,” “Butter,” and others were simply amazing.
The background dancers put in a lot of work for the show, so the band members also gave them a hearty round of applause.
In an extremely moving speech, Jungkook reflected on his trainee days and said that there had been moments when he considered giving up, but the other members had supported him.
In the last moments of the performance, the seven members of the group, dressed in matching purple hoodie jackets, assured their fans that they would return. “LOTS OF CHANGES BUT WE’RE STILL US,” was the message on a placard held by V, assuring fans about their 2025 return.
BTS: The Yet to Come Film Review: Concluding Remarks
Fans of the band will find the concert film BTS: Yet To Come to be an emotional journey. Fans would relate to it because it was the last time they saw the seven members of the band perform live, even though music enthusiasts might enjoy it for the lively songs and a variety of tracks that the band had not performed in years.
