Maneesh Sharma, the film’s director, released it on November 12th. The biggest movie of the year made 44.50 crores in India, even though Laxmi Pujan is regarded as the worst festival day for business. We saw an incredible jump on the second day, with 59.25 crores receiving in total. Even on the third day, which was only partially off, 44.75 crores have been collected.
Tiger 3 made 148.50 crores net on its opening weekend at the Indian box office. It is 180.50 crores in gross. The Salman Khan movie had the best opening weekend ever for a Bollywood film abroad, but the following day saw a steep drop in ticket sales.
When both are taken into account, Tiger 3 has made 240 crores at the global box office. This is significant because the movie has consistently earned more than 75 crores every day. It has already become one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2023 with such a remarkable total.
Regarding Bollywood blockbusters that have made 200 crores or more in revenue, Tiger 3 has outperformed OMG 2 (Akshay Kumar-Pankaj Tripathi) (220 crores gross) and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor) (221.28 crores gross). The Kerala Story’s lifetime gross of 293.25 crores would be surpassed in a few days. Soon, the gross of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (348.89 crores) will also be exceeded.
Tiger 3 surpassed Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s 185.50 crores gross even before day 3 was over, so for Salman Khan, it’s a much-needed comeback. It remains to be seen if it can unseat Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 (685.19 crores gross), as the movie is still in theaters until Animal opens on December 1.
