Speaking on “Dhawan Karenge,” Shikhar Dhawan’s chat show, Taapsee Pannu discussed her experience in the film industry.
In the Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam released in 2010, Taapsee Pannu made her acting debut. She made her Bollywood debut in 2013 with David Dhawan’s comedy Chashme Baddoor, which also starred Siddharth, Ali Zafar, and Divyenndu. The actress has since starred in numerous amazing films across all genres.
Talking about her experience in the film industry, Taapsee Pannu appeared on Shikhar Dhawan’s discussion show, “Dhawan Karenge.” The actress Preity Zinta served as an encouragement for the Dunki star to pursue her aspirations. Many people said Taapsee resembled the Dil Se actress when she first entered the Bollywood industry. Pannu admits that she even tried to look like Preity.
Taapsee Pannu Discusses Her Similarity To Preity Zinta
Taapsee Pannu revealed on Dhawan Karenge: “A lot of people believed that I was a new Preity Zinta. That’s why I received offers from Bollywood. You must have had more interactions with her than I did, therefore you are probably more aware of her wonderful vibe than I am. I’ve only ever seen her on the big screen or television.
The actress from Thappad went on to say, “I believe that someone who can be energetic and intelligent falls into the Preity Zinta category. Because of her name, I felt obligated to live up to the reputation they used to get me into the industry. I therefore always try to be like her.
Taapsee Pannu has participated in some amazing commercials, including Pink, Badla, Thappad, Baby, Ghazi, Mission Mangal, Saand Ki Aankh, and Naam Shabana. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, the actress last appeared in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Three new films starring the actress are planned. In the films Khel Khel Mein, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, and Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? the actress will be seen. A follow-up to her Netflix original movie Haseen Dillruba from 2021 is called Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba.
