Sumona Chakravarti, star of the Kapil Sharma show, was denied a home loan by banks because “I had no fixed monthly salary.”

The Kapil Sharma Show helped Sumona Chakravarti become well-known. Regretfully, the actress decided not to stay involved with Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show. She is currently discussing the drawbacks of being an actor, having been turned down for a house loan. For all the information, scroll below!

Actors receive no set pay, in contrast to corporate workers. Sometimes people work at home without a job, and there are months when they make more money than they would in a year. Banks generally steer clear of lending money to professionals who face such enormous risks.

In an interview with Indian Express, Mumbai-born Sumona Chakravarti talked about purchasing her first house. “I bought my first house when I was 26,” the woman revealed. This is a typical little Mumbai apartment, and as everyone knows, the real estate market is insane. Actors do not receive a set monthly payment or a paycheck slip arranged as in an office. I vividly recall how my lack of a stable monthly wage made the bank employees hesitant to approve my loan. A bank would rather put its money on someone with a monthly salary of Rs 20,000 than an actress because acting carries a higher risk.

As Sumona Chakravarti pointed out, under circumstances like the COVID-19 epidemic, things become challenging. She considers paying off her house payment to be her “biggest achievement,” which is fortunate.

Sumona also disclosed during the talk that people frequently inquire as to when she plans to be married. “I often get asked when I am settling down in life,” the 35-year-old actress replies. “That is what I think is called being settled where you can fulfill the criteria of roti, kapda, and makaan.” Everyone else will come and go.

Professionally, you may soon catch Sumona Chakravarti in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
