Story:
Siddharth Roy (Deepak Saroj) sees life as a realm governed by logic and fundamental physical needs like food, sleep, and intimacy. However, the emotionally detached youngster unexpectedly falls for Indumathi (Tanvi Negi), whose beliefs are diametrically opposed to his. When Indu abruptly leaves him, the mystery surrounding her departure remains. The film delves into unraveling these mysteries.
Plus Points:
Deepak Saroj deserves credit for making the risky decision to make his debut as a lead in an unconventional story. He executes the director’s vision admirably and is praised for his commitment.
Tanvi Negi gives a performance that perfectly captures her character’s essence and exudes captivating charm. The supporting cast also delivers strong performances, staying true to their roles and adding to the film’s coherence.

Minus points:
It is important to note that in today’s world, wearing a thick beard, long hair, and smoking two cigarettes at the same time is frequently interpreted as displaying attitude, which is not always the case.
While the story had promise on paper, its on-screen execution faltered due to an overemphasis on the hero’s characterization. The screenplay rambles and appears contrived and repetitive at times.
The inclusion of gratuitous love scenes, as well as bold and provocative dialogue and character behaviors, fails to connect with family audiences, detracting from the film’s overall appeal.
The lackluster songs add to a disjointed narrative, reducing viewer engagement.
Technical aspects:
Director Yeshasvi could have been more restrained when narrating the story, avoiding unnecessary embellishments. The screenplay lacks dynamism and struggles to maintain momentum.
While the cinematography meets expectations, the score falls short of adding to the story’s impact. Significant editing is needed in both halves of the film to improve pacing. Nonetheless, production values are commendable.
Verdict:
Overall, Siddharth Roy comes across as a romantic drama marred by excesses, particularly in its portrayal of the protagonist’s demeanor. Aside from Deepak’s committed performance, the film provides little to celebrate. Viewers, particularly family audiences, are encouraged to seek out alternative entertainment options.
