Although there was a significant decline on the second Monday, Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan still managed to surpass initial projections on the first day.
Since its release on March 8, Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan has been doing incredibly well. The movie was predicted to debut between 11 and 12 crores. However, it defied all projections and assumptions, debuting at 15.21 crore, and the movie hasn’t looked back since.
Despite a fresh release featuring Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha, the horror movie saw no significant decline for ten long days. However, on the second Monday, the movie experienced its first significant decline.
Based on preliminary data, Shaitaan is expected to gross between 3 and 3.5 crore on its eleventh day of release. This decline on the second Monday, though, is not unexpected. If the drop hadn’t been there, it would have been a magical disbelief.
A Stunning Follow-Up Weekend
With Shaitaan, Ajay Devgn has already completed his thirteenth 100-crore film, which ended its second weekend at 106 crore. It brought in 55.13 crore on opening weekend and 81.60 crore in the first week.

Are You Ready for Another Weekend of Holi?
The horror film is preparing for yet another Holi weekend at the box office, which may or may not be its third. Ajay Devgn may continue to play through the fourth weekend, sharing numbers with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon’s newly arrived Crew, even though there is only Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha to battle.
Are You Going To Be Important Until Maidaan?
The brilliance of Ajay Devgn’s movies is that should they secure a spot in the box office, they maintain it and bring in the right crowds for an extended amount of time. With these kinds of movies, he consistently has amazing box office performance. If Shaitaan does well at the box office and people continue to choose it over other movies, it may continue to run longer until his next big release, Maidaan, which is scheduled to compete with Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan for Eid, opens.
