Akash Goparaju, son of singer Sunitha, debuted in a motion picture with Sarkaari Noukari. The Ganganamoni Shekar-directed film is currently showing in theaters. Let’s examine the movie.
Story:
Government worker Gopal (Akash Goparaju) weds Satya (Bhavana Vazhapandal). It is Gopal’s responsibility to disperse condoms and stress their value in preventing AIDS in the villages. As soon as Satya finds out about Gopal’s employment, she begins to despise him. Satya threatens to leave him if he doesn’t step down. Even so, Gopal chooses to carry out his duties. Why does Gopal insist on working so much that he ignores his wife? Was he able to raise awareness among the villagers? This is the subject matter of the film.
Bonus Points:
The idea behind the movie is quite intriguing. It’s commendable that the creators want to raise awareness among the public about a serious health issue. A few scenes had good handling. Since the 1990s saw the beginning of the AIDS epidemic in our nation, the story is made even more realistic by the film’s setting in that era.
In his debut, Akash Goparaju performed admirably. He made an effort to convey the feelings through his eyes. Akash performed admirably in a few scenes. It’s noteworthy that Akash has chosen a different topic even though this is his first time.
The way Bhavana Valapandal played Satya was amazing, and she got along well with Akash. Sammeta Gandhi, Madhulatha, Sudhakar Reddy, Srinivasa Rao, and Mahadev are all good in their parts.
Negative Points:
Since Sarkaaru Noukari wasn’t the first film to tackle this subject, the filmmaker made an effort to strike a balance by including both humorous and poignant moments. However, he was not entirely successful in his endeavor. The main flaw in Sarkaaru Noukari is the narrative, which moves slowly from the outset to the conclusion.
The scenes that are emotionally charged could have been better executed because they lack depth. It’s not difficult to predict what will happen as the film goes on. It is possible to predict the character twist involving the protagonist’s friend as soon as the second half opens. Therefore, the predictability factor is a spoilsport.
Undoubtedly, the idea is excellent, but it would have had more impact if it had been presented in a fun way. A few pointless scenes could have been cut, and the editing crew could have done a better job overall.
Technical Details:
The songs of Sandilya Pisapati are enjoyable. It’s a respectable background score. The village atmosphere has been tastefully highlighted, and the images appear realistic. The editing is not up to par.
The care given to Ganganamoni Shekar could have been far superior. Since this is a taboo subject in India, there should have been strong feelings involved. Furthermore, the comedy portion of the film is poorly written, which makes it difficult to fully relate to.
Conclusion:
While Sarkaaru Noukari addresses a significant topic overall, the film’s narrative is uninteresting from beginning to end. In his feature film debut, Akash Goparaju performed admirably, while Bhavana Vazhapandal, the lead actress, was excellent. Even though the idea is sound, there was a more entertaining way to present it. The humor and feelings didn’t come through as intended. While there are some good scenes in the film, overall it’s not very impressive.
