Pallavi Prashanth ‘s fans allegedly attacked the car of the reality show’s runner-up, Amardeep Chowdary, after he was declared the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu 7.
Pallavi Prashanth, the season 7 winner of Bigg Boss Telugu, was arrested on Wednesday in Hyderabad in connection with a vandalism incident.
Prashanth, who is named as the primary accused (A1), and his brother Manohar (A2) are among the people against whom the police have filed multiple cases. Using eyewitness reports and CCTV footage, the authorities are also attempting to identify additional people.
Pallavi Prashanth was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu 7 on December 17, taking home a cash prize of Rs 35 lakh along with the title.
After the announcement, Amardeep Chowdary finished the season as the runner-up.
But after the show, a sizable gathering of people gathered in front of Hyderabad’s Annapurna Studio, and the celebration took an unexpected turn.
While returning home with his mother and actress-wife Tejaswini, Amardeep Chowdary found his car surrounded by purported fans of Pallavi Prashanth, creating an unexpected and tense situation.
The incident took a dramatic turn when fervent fans reportedly assailed Amardeep Chowdary’s car, causing significant damage that included the forceful breaking of the windshield.
