Kareena Kapoor Khan Was Accused of Removing Ayushmann Khurrana from Udta Punjab - Here's How An Outraged Bebo Reacted!

Ayushmann Khurrana was the initial option for Udta Punjab and was paired with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Here’s what happened.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the few superstars who has been involved in the most controversies during her early career. Bebo has been there and done that, whether it’s ghosting Karan Johar for Kal Ho Naa Ho or labeling Sanjay Leela Bhansali as nothing before she matured!

However, one of the conflicts did not sit well with her once she had grown up and matured enough to choose the correct tasks. This murmur was related to a young actor named Ayushmann Khurrana!

Abhishek Chaubey reportedly approached Ayushmann for Udta Punjab after he established himself as an actor and performer in Vicky Donor. However, events quickly changed, and there were suspicions that Kareena Kapoor Khan was the one who had applied pressure.

There were wildly circulated claims that Kareena Kapoor Khan would not work with an up-and-coming actor such as Ayushmann Khurrana, resulting in the actor’s dismissal from Udta Punjab. Still, the actress from Chameli was presumably offended by the news.

A source close to Kareena was reported to have refuted all of the charges in fresh reports. “Kareena is not involved in casting decisions; she is only involved in her role and the script of the film,” the insider said, as quoted by Indian Express in a previous report. In all honesty, Kareena has never influenced the decisions made by the filmmakers, despite the accusations being propagated by those with a conflict of interest that she may have anything to do with Ayushmann leaving the movie. The final casting decision is always made by the director. She finds the reason her name is being brought up in this for publicity incomprehensible and is content to be in the movie.

In any case, it makes sense because Diljit Dosanjh, a Punjabi celebrity who debuted with Udta Punjab, was subsequently matched opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. In later events, Ayushmann Khurrana explained that he was forced to leave Udta Punjab because of problems with his dates.

Curiously, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been exhibiting audacious decision-making. She appeared with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Verma in her OTT debut, Jaane Jaan, but she has since signed Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra alongside the highly talented Ayushmann Khurrana!
