The movie made an astounding total of 197.90 crores in the foreign box office. With an Indian gross of 407.10 crores and an overseas gross of 197.90 crores at the global box office, the movie made a total of 605 crores over its existence.
Jailer has made 605 crores globally, making it the third highest-grossing Kollywood movie ever, behind 2.0 (655,44 crores) and Leo (607,66 crores).
The jailer was found to have cost 225 crores, even though the budget was not formally revealed. Thus, when compared to the 345 crores that the picture brought in from India, the return on investment was 120 crores or 53.33%.
Rajinikanth reportedly received a salary of 110 crores for the movie, in addition to a BMW X7 and a portion of the revenues.
