Introduction:
“New Life” is a genre-bending thriller film with John Rosman as the director of his first feature film. Even though it can be classified as a horror movie, now and then it resembles psychological drama as well, raising issues, such as a greedy corporate world and the harsh struggle of a woman who wants to become a Freebird again. Story:
The main plot starts with the girl, named Jessica (Hayley Erin), a young woman, thoroughly covered in blood and escaping some danger. She is pursued by the agents of an ambiguous organisation led by its field officer Elsa portrayed by Sonya Walger but in real life, Walger struggles with ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Jessica, a stripper, plans to leave her past life and go as far from it as she can, and as close to the border of Canada, as possible; however, she gets the reality about her current position and how one can test positive without arrest. This is the story where two women break each other by their sorrows and the results of their choices, then meet in an exciting scene, that combines their fates.

Therefore, one might consider “New Life” to be read as an entertaining story that is fun to tell and ISCO combines horror with thriller brilliantly. The addition of up-to-date ideas and very popular issues like corporate espionage boosts the believability of the movie’s narrative and it is not a cut-and-dry chase film. However, there are some problems in pacing, as well as in script-writing in which such flaws as predictability can be considered crucial shortcomings.

- Direction: While John Rosman gets the pacing of the book just right and does not let the adrenaline slack up for a second at times the book falls into clichés instead of experimenting.
- Cinematography: I think there are good articles on the cameras that depict the city and the creepy aspect of horror scenes.
- Sound Design: The music applied in the scan of the motion picture adds to the grim aesthetic while compounded with tension that forms suspense.
Performance:
so the acting, especially of Hayley Erin as Jessica’s character can provoke real feelings and can be referred to as powerful acting. The character that was least adaptable and assertive is portrayed well by Elsa portrayed by Sonya Walger. They contribute to the building up of the action in a picture.
Moviepoptime Review:
I can guarantee you that in watching the movie you will have an interesting story. I was confused because, for the first 40mins nothing occurred that would form part of a horror genre. There was once a specific movie (due to my respect for this one, I won’t embarrass myself with the name) where I felt as much in the first scene of a girl being stalked by her former boyfriend the director could have taken a cue or two from horror movies. This one is mysterious and at some time, suddenly there is an aha! Moment and then you kinda know what is going on.
So, patience, dear watcher. I read some positive comments and then I thought let me watch this and it was worth it. They also liked that there were no huge celebrities on the show so nothing was stealing the spotlight. I only wish that one poster, (which doesn’t make sense and the scene in question is not even in the movie) was never made. You should try it because it has motifs such as ALS that are featured only in a few films.
Conclusion:
New Life is a powerful thriller that also tries to incorporate horror with amazing social themes to the big screen. Yes, it does have pacing problems, and might be quite formulaic in terms of its plot; yet an outstanding performance by Erin and Walger, not to mention the excellent build-up of tension, firmly establishes this film as a quite worthy example of the genre. Overall, John Rosman’s debut should be of great interest to such audiences as fans of the thriller genre who are ready to see producers’ clichés through the fresh lenses of a talented director.
In other words, a movie called “New Life” has a great story that makes people pay some attention to some incidents and scenarios where ordinary people become mere corporation serfs instead of corporation-servant citizens in a state inhabited by a multinational business entity of a corporation.
