Story:

He comes to Earth as an alien – an intelligent extraterrestrial being, whose mission is to observe the behaviour of inhabitants of the Earth especially those in India. When he gets there, his means to get in touch with his spacecraft a remote control is taken from him. PK being an alien does not understand the norms of the earth, so he has to adapt and choose to be clothed and even use money he takes from people having sex in ”dancing cars”. He tries to find a way to communicate by taking people’s hands and imprinting himself with their memories and they all run away from him later when they think he wants to perverse himself.

PK introduces himself to Jaggu, a television journalist and this lovely lady becomes his friend. Jaggu assists PK type in search of his lost remote control and also his spaceship. They come to know that it was done by some fake godman named Tapasvi Maharaj and he can directly meet with God. Source PK challenges Tapasvi on TV showing the world that this man is a crook and a cheat. Thus, PK also has the role of reunion of Jaggu with her lost beloved Sarfaraz who was accused of treason by Tapasvi.

Review:

PK got a lot of positive responses soon after its release. Some of the criticisms levelled about the movie included that it caricatured extremisms, the period that the movie was set and; finally, Aamir Khan, the principal actor in the movie. The film was billed as fun and funny, yet it was also a film with a great message about the need to challenge authority specifically religious authority.

Plus Points:

  • The film is wondrous and the best performance of Aamir Khan as PK, the man in black, an extraterrestrial of simpleton nature.
  • The movie is also funny and comical, and it does not leave out ordinary people. The movie is also funny and comical, and it does not leave out ordinary people in the laughter.
  • In some aspects, I also believe that religious perspective and tolerance are still preserved as well and the search for a critical approach while choosing the path in life is Purposefully thought-provoking and humorous.
  • There is no doubt that the trio of Shantanu Moitra, Ankit Tiwari, and Rochak Kohli along with lyricist Irshad Kamil have come up with good music to go with the film.

Minus Points:

  • Certain members of the audience explained that this violated the entertainment criterion by being stark and blatant on occasion.
  • Sometimes one is stretched out so much and watching the movie seems to be in one particular scene for a very long time.
  • A few out of the entire shown target group will be sensitive to some of the religious perceptions and activities in the picture as being lewd.

Technical Aspects:

PK boasts impressive technical aspects, including:

  • The movie was shot by C.K. Muraleedharan whose camera work captures the right feel of India – colours, vibrancy, and energy.
  • The direction of photography and innovative credit by Rajkumar Hirani maintain the film on a very high tempo and therefore does not allow the viewers to make them confused between the comedy style and the drama style of the movie.
  • Costume design by Manini Mishra which makes a realistic environment to build for PK where he is posted.

Performance:

PK is the character done by Aamir which was done so effectively in an excellent way is the biggest advantage of this film itself. Anushka Sharma is as good as Jaggu – she’s pretty, personable and very much likeable. Sushant Singh Rajput has also done a very good job and so has Sanjay Dutt by giving his best actors to everyone.

MoviePopTime Review:

Honestly, if there’s one film I would love to sit and watch over and over I PK. What a masterpiece! I think it is one of the best films in Indian cinema. As for the way this flick was produced: it is great, and Rajkumar Hirani is my number one director.

With his humour, Aamir Khan made me laugh to the core but then go all emotional what an actor! Soon there was the support of lovely and talented Anushka Sharma, Saurabh Shukla, Boman Irani, wonderful Sanjay Dutt, and Sushant Singh Rajput, and all of them were fantastic. Moreover, the music must be remarkable, as well.

This is how you create a movie that deals with such issues but doesn’t piss off any religion or social group. An all-time winner!

Conclusion:

PK is a hardcore film that presents difficult issues related to religion, faith and mankind in a very subtle way. While on the face ‘T Three Miles’ can be said to be a satirically built story, this actual preaching in Rajkumar Hirani’s directorship and Aamir Khan’s acting turns the movie into a true-to-life and philosophically deep-rooted movie on humanity. All in all, the film can be entertaining for viewers while tending to make them think it is a great movie for a lot of fans of intelligent films.

PK consequently holds the capacity of the art of motion picture to eradicate such a trend and turn people out of motion picture seats, to be always present. Rajkumar Hirani’s direction and Aamir Khan’s performance elevate the film beyond its satirical premise, creating a touching and thought-provoking exploration of what it means to be human. While the film may not be perfect, its ability to entertain and provoke discussion makes it a must-see for fans of intelligent cinema. PK stands as a testament to the power of film to challenge our preconceptions and bring people together in a shared experience.
