Story:
The movie starts in the 1952 year when the Olympics was held in Helsinki and the Indian football team shamelessly lost a match to Yugoslavia 10-1. Maidaan was an unexpectedly interesting film, given its length. It had a very powerful, motivational narration that showed us the story of Syed Abdul Rahimji. The character arcs were well managed and the lively humour element brought a lot of positives into the mix. Ajay Devgn performed exceptionally well and was dialogueless when his eyes said so much more. Gajraj Rao performed much better in the second half while Priyamani brought a spoonful of sugar in every scene. There was an emotional high at the end that saw me counting down to the end and clapping for others whenever the task was deserved. All in all, much better a film than I anticipated!

In other words, Maidaan is a biopic drama that is well made and the plot of the movie is built on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim and the era of football in India. For this reason, Anytime I decided to combine storytelling, excellent power performance, and great technicality to be an encouraging addition to Indian films.
