Darshan is being investigated in connection with a murder case. In a fresh development, authorities claim that the actor borrowed money to destroy evidence.
Darshan Thoogudeepa, the accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, reportedly borrowed ₹40 lakh from a friend to pay off the other suspects in the case for destroying evidence. According to the remand application, the Kannada actor, who was arrested on June 11, confessed to borrowing an enormous cash to present to persons who witnessed the incident.
Police take ₹37, 4 lahks out of Darshan’s suitcase at his house
According to the report, security personnel at the shed where Renukaswamy was murdered received part of the ₹40 lakh loan in exchange for their silence. According to the report, cops recovered ₹37.4 lakh from a green Puma bag located at the actor’s home. Police reportedly seized ₹4.5 lakh from the home of the leader of Darshan’s fan association.
Pavithra hit Renukaswamy with her slippers
The new agency According to PTI, actor Pavithra Gowda, who is also charged in the Renukaswamy murder case, beat the victim with her shoes. According to a recent remand letter filed by police in court, she was present at the murder scene for a length of time. Police reportedly removed Pavithra’s slipper, clothing, materials, and other Darshan-related papers from her home.

According to PTI, Kannada actor Pavithra has been listed as the first culprit in the murder case, reportedly for instigating the crime, while Darshan is accused number two, allegedly for carrying it out. Darshan and Pavithra, along with 15 other people, have been detained in the Renukaswamy murder case.
As part of the probe, police officials claimed they are considering approaching social media company Meta to collect data relating to remarks shared by Renukaswamy on his deleted Instagram post.
According to police, Renukaswamy, an actor admirer, sent ‘obscene texts’ to Pavithra, which infuriated Darshan and allegedly led to the murder. Renukaswamy’s body was discovered beside a drain on June 9. On June 8, he was allegedly tortured and killed.
