Orphaned young by their parents, Arjun is brought up by their grandfather Lakshmayya (Tanikella Bharani), who doesn’t have much of an imposing figure prominent enough to dwarf them both in the dreamy city of Hyderabad, one of which is aimed at becoming a cricketer whilst the other dreams of becoming a software engineer. But their dreams crumble to dust when they experience some form of a cash problem.

When Lakshmayya has a heart attack, and he needs surgery immediately, Venkat starts betting on IPL to earn money by using his intelligence. Nevertheless, he is swindled by the bookie and as such pins extreme measures. The brothers move into the world of crime and they realize the measures of the options they’ve gotten themselves into are not easy to reverse. It represents themes of loyalty exposed through the relationship between the two brothers, and the sacrifice that Venkat is willing to make to get justice for his family.

Review:

Bhaje Vaayu Vegam has been possible with the reactions and comments of critics, which has been good from the audience and good performances and thrilling moments.

Plus Points:

  • Strong Performances: Karthikeya Gummakonda who ventured into the Telugu cinema with Chandralekha, did a very good job of depicting Venkat, who is so much desperate to live but at the same time also determined. These demonstrate emotions that make him versatile to play the character’s emotions in the play. I also enjoyed Rahul Tyson as Raju adding a bit of justifiable fear to the character.
  • Engaging Storyline: The story of the film concerns the confrontation of two brothers with many adversities, in which the basis of interest and show business is the story. It takes the readers to an additional level in knitting crime with family relations.
  • Thrilling Action Sequences: The action episodes are very good in the movie, and the risky moments are thrilling to ensure you remain focused. The fight with the mafia and such car chase episodes give the necessary spirit to the story.
  • Emotional Depth: Other than being an action thriller; the film delivers on the themes of family, sacrifice and redemption. The feelings drawn out during the scenes that involve the brothers and their grandfather are physical.

Minus Points:

  • Predictable Plot: Nevertheless, the film reveals some entailing twists and turns, but some of the elements of the plot may seem quite cliches to the viewer, who is familiar with films of a similar genre. It also has rather a predictable plot, which might be a drawback because of that.
  • Pacing Issues: While the pacing of some films may be problematic it is more so in the case of the first half where the filmmakers have chosen to build the character profiles and backgrounds. This can disrupt the overall narratives because of distraction through breaking up into multiple segments with interrelated goals.
  • Underdeveloped Supporting Characters: Some of the characters, however, are well developed while others are just mere creations as supporting characters and hence require a little more background details to give them more roles in the play.

Technical Aspects:

Bhaje Vaayu Vegam has a runtime of 136 minutes and is presented in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio. RD Rajasekhar has taken charge of cinematography and he has tried to show the bright atmosphere and powerful dare-belly fight scenes. Satya G has done the editing of the work and there is continuity in the plot however there are problems with the pacing. The film’s songs penned down by Navneeth Madhav are quite distinct, although there are only two or three songs featured in the film, while the songs of Radhan are quite impressive, the background music by Kapil Kumar for the movie is more appealing for the dramatic and finally thrilling scenes present in the movie.

Performance:

Karthikeya Gummakonda does full justice to the role of Venkat he plays, depicting a build-up of a young man who slowly gets attracted to the wrong side of the law. Carefully plotted features of an appealing protagonist: His portrayal of weakness and tenacity.

Rahul Tyson does well as Raju and seizes the opportunity to draw out the many issues of his character while complementing Karthikeya’s acting. Despite being the main female lead, Ishwarya Menon is not given much screen space but has performed very well and indeed the film gets much-needed emotional content with her acting.

Ravi Shankar performs the role of the antagonist to the “T” – David and has a menacing demeanour in the film. His character puts tension into the plot and therefore becomes a major challenge for the main characters. In addition, Tanikella Bharani as the elder brothers and their grandfather gives an emotional touch to the subject.

MoviePopTime Review:

Having seen it, I can say that watching Bhaje Vaayu Vegam was quite a paradox to me. From the dynamics and realization of the plot, it was quite slow, it put the movie in the extremely slow category at first though that gradually changed. But as soon as the second half started there was some interest in creating action scenes and turn of events which made me like the movie.

AK’s appreciable performance had been done by Kartikeya Gummakonda in the role of Venkat and he could enact the essentiality of the character effectively in terms of desperation and intensity. There was an emotional concern, more about his father’s state, but I found some characters, like in the case of Iswarya Menon, were underutilized.

Conclusion:

Thus, Bhaje Vaayu Vegam is a perfect action thriller that incorporates elements of drama, crime and emotions elements excelled into the movie. This, however, may only cause a slight problem regarding pacing and plausibility in its story but the latter is indeed saved by the charismatic acting and thoroughly realistic plot.

With his Directorial debut, Prashanth Reddy has come up with a film that has a connection with the masses, the plot revolves around two brothers and their strife in life and crime. Tense successful action scenes and tears rolling sequences make Bhaje Vaayu Vegam a worthwhile watch for lovers of this kind of movie. Finally, Bhaje Vaayu Vegam has to be considered as a hopeful example of a new Telugu film which does show how much potential realistic stories reflecting today’s youth have in this genre.h pacing and predictability, the film’s strengths lie in its compelling performances and relatable storyline.

Director Prashanth Reddy has crafted a film that resonates with audiences, showcasing the struggles of two brothers as they navigate the challenges of life and crime.
