Before rising to prominence in 2003 as a member of Triple H’s Evolution heel group, the 55-year-old made his WWE debut in 2002 as Deacon Batista. The popularity of the former World Heavyweight Champion continued to rise after that, and he never looked back. He became one of the main attractions of the company over the years, leaving us with many special moments.
But there were rumors that things were not going well between Batista and WWE later in his career. It has been reported that the former WWE Champion was not pleased with his treatment. He had expressed his disapproval of the advancement’s trajectory on multiple occasions. He was asked to make an appearance at WrestleMania 32 for the uninitiated, but he declined.
In 2017, during an interview with Talk is Jericho, Batista talked about how much he missed WWE despite his incredible tenure with the business, but he missed wrestling. He also disclosed that the WWE had flatly refused his requests for a plan so he could retire in style.
Batista stated, “Yeah, I miss it a lot,” during a podcast interview. You already know that there is nothing like it. It’s just accompanied by a rush of adrenaline. To be honest, I don’t miss the company at all. WWE is not something I miss. I don’t miss dealing with the company and its bullsh*t; I miss wrestling.
