Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, a new film, is now available on Netflix. Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Adarsh Gourav play the lead roles in the film. Let’s see how things go.

Story:

The plot of Kho Gaye Hum Kahan revolves around three friends, Ahana (Ananya Panday), Imaad (Siddhant Chaturvedi), and Neil (Adarsh Gourav). Imaad is a stand-up comedian, and Neil is a fitness instructor. They want to make a name for themselves in their field. Ahana, on the other hand, has a relationship problem. The rest of the story revolves around what happens in their lives.

Plus points:

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan addresses a topic that is relevant to today’s youth. It depicts the harsh reality of becoming overly attached to social media rather than living in the moment.

The film encourages us to spend time with our loved ones rather than being glued to our phones throughout the day. Not only that, but the film touches on a variety of topics that are all too familiar. The best part is that all of this is told in a charming manner without becoming preachy.

Through the lives of three friends, the message to society has been delivered. Each of them is dealing with their own issues, which are inextricably linked to the negative effects of social media. Just when we think the film is going flat, the creators introduce a point of contention between the friends and save the film.

The film becomes darker and more intense toward the end, but it is handled subtly. Ananya Panday fared well in comparison to her previous efforts. Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav are excellent in their roles. Despite having less screen time, Kalki Koechlin leaves an impression.

Minus Points:

While the concept and story are good, the film is mostly slow-paced. The first hour, in particular, could have been more crisp, and a few redundant scenes could have been edited out for a better overall experience.

The movie’s concept is more appealing to the urban audience, and the rest of the audience may not enjoy it. At times, the film is a little too predictable. The humour section could have been written better.

Technical Aspects:

The music is good and fits with the theme of the film. Tanay Satam’s cinematography and production design are both fantastic. The editing, on the other hand, could have been much better.

Arjun Varain Singh’s debut film was well-received by critics. The second hour is handled well, and the creators deserve credit for addressing many issues that are critical in this digital age.

Verdict:

Overall, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan depicts how people place more emphasis on social media than on enjoying life’s best moments. Many such relatable aspects are highlighted through the lives of three friends, played by Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Adarsh Gourav, in the film. The actors did an excellent job. The slow-paced narration, on the other hand, dampens the impact, and the runtime could have been cut. If you don’t mind these flaws, you should watch this film.
