Introduction:
Sita Ramam can be categorized as a Romantic Drama as it revolves around the triumph of love, self-sacrifice and how the wars have led to the destruction of healthy human relations. The main cast of the film includes Dulquer Salmaan who plays the role of Lieutenant Ram, Mrunal Thakur as Sita Mahalakshmi and Rashmika Mandanna as Afreen. Story:
The narrative unfolds in two timelines: These time frames that were 1964 and 1984. The film’s protagonist, Lieutenant Ram, played by Dulquer Salmaan, is an orphaned soldier who falls in love with a woman named Sita Mahalakshmi essayed by Mrunal Thakur based on a letter received from her. Their relationship with each other grows passionately as they make love amidst the turbulence of war and conflict which makes their love life full of hardship because of society and family pressure.
In 1984 Afreen (Rashmika Mandanna) a student now studying in London has to come back to India to post a letter to her grandpa as he wished her to. Thus the story begins and it tells of Rana and Sita’s love, a love that has been clouded by miscommunication and time.

Sita Ramam is an exemplary love saga that enchanted me with the looks and felt of the performances. Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur played the leading pair and both portrayed a love angle that was quite lovable and realistic.
The efficient structure, which connects past and present stages of the heroes’ lives, narrates the subtle love and humanity stories against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan conflict. Action was slow in the beginning up to middle part but in the second half, it greatly increased and built up to a heart-touching scene.
The cinematography work is excellent especially when it comes to the beautiful sceneries, Vishal Chandrasekhar’s songs are beautiful and add to the feel of the movie, especially during emotional episodes. All in all, Sita Ramam is an emotionally appealing film that seeks to provide valuable insight into the idea of love, which has no limitations, thus making it an excellent movie to watch for anyone who has an interest in watching romantic movies.

It is nice to see that Sita Ramam is a well-made movie that has the elements of romance, and drama and at the same time, it provides the historical background where the story is set.
