Kartik was asked in an interview how he handles hostility and nasty comments about him.
Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion was released in theaters on June 14, 2024. Kabir Khan directs this sports biographical film on India’s first Paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar. Kartik garnered a lot of applause for his portrayal, while the film itself received good reviews. However, the film is struggling to generate good box office results.
Chandu Champion marks Kartik Aaryan’s first theatrical film of 2024. Last year, the actor had a hit with ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’. His 2022 horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiya 2 also performed well. The actor has a huge fan base and is one of the most beloved stars in the country. Despite this, Kartik faces hostility in his profession.
Kartik Aaryan discusses dealing with negativity
There were reports in 2021 that Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan had a falling out, hence Dostana 2 was shelved. Sandeep Singh also mentioned in an interview that the Chandu Champion star has changed since achieving stardom. In an interview, Kartik was asked how he copes with criticism and terrible things published about himself.
Kartik Aaryan told the Hindustan Times, “I stay silent. I just try to stay silent, whether it’s good or terrible. Silence is quite powerful. I dealt with the most serious circumstances by being silent. And that is what I believe in and will only follow.”
“I’m not the only one who understands this. That is something everyone understands. Nowadays, nobody is foolish. We’re intelligent enough to recognize who’s doing it and what’s happening. I believe you should simply be silent and let your work speak for itself,” Kartik said in response to harsh comments about him.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Anees Bazmees’ Bhool Bhulaiya 3. Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri also star in the horror-comedy, which will be released in theaters this Diwali.
