While Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol star in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed picture, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR play the key parts in the SS Rajamouli-directed movie. While some celebrities and netizens frequently criticize the latter, the former is adored for its action and story. Their shared characteristic is that they have both been box-office successes. Actress Ratna Pathak Shah has since expressed her opinions about them.
Even on a global scale, people adore SS Rajamouli’s RRR. Additionally, “Naatu Naatu” received an Oscar. A Ram Charan and Jr. NTR sequel is something that the public is hoping for. The follow-up to Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, however, is also widely anticipated. But Ratna Pathak Shah disclosed that she avoided seeing the Ranbir-starring film RRR because she was unable to see it all the way through.
Ratna Pathak Shah Discusses RRR and Animal Films
“To be honest, I haven’t seen RRR and Animal,” the Kapoor & Sons actress stated in an interview. I attempted to watch RRR, though not all of it. RRR isn’t to my taste, but I can understand why a lot of people enjoy and value it. But even after seeing Animal’s image and vibe, I didn’t feel the desire to watch it because it made me feel uneasy and alienated. Then, after hearing such things, I decided not to view it. I recognize the type of movie it is.
Ratna Pathak Shah spoke with The Lallantop on the depictions of violence and sex in South Indian movies. According to Ratna, the level of sexiness in their songs is distinct. “It is an intriguing paradox – on one hand, their films portray a very refined, regulated society, and on the other hand, there is this… violence is particularly amazing,” the actress continued.
The actress’s most recent film appearance was in Dhak Dhak, which came out in 2023. She also appeared in the web series Charlie Chopra, Happy Family: Conditions Apply, and Trial By Fire.
