Hrithik Roshan, a War 2 star, has joined a lengthy line of celebrities who have chastised tech giant Apple for its dumb advertisement. Here is what occurred!
The Greek God of Bollywood is utilizing his power for good. Hrithik Roshan recently turned to Instagram Stories to join a large number of celebrities who have criticized tech giant Apple for its latest advertising, which has gone viral for the wrong reasons. Roshan described the advertisements as ‘ sad,’ among other things. Here’s how things happened.
After Apple launched an advertisement for its new iPad line, artists and celebrities chastised the tech company and its creatives for their tone-deaf ads. Hrithik joined a large number of celebrities who have spoken out against the adverts, which appear to be aimed at taking away the jobs of artists worldwide.
Hugh Grant, Justine Bateman, Asif Kapadia, and Luke Barnett are among the many celebrities who have condemned the company. Hrithik wrote on Instagram Stories: “How sad and ignorant is the new Apple ad.” His statements express significant resistance to the advertisement, underlining his extreme displeasure. Hugh, a British actor, recently criticized the advertising, stating, “The destruction of the human experience.” Courtesy of Silicon Valley.
At Apple’s Let Loose event on May 7, CEO Tim Cook debuted a new campaign called Crush. The advertisement, which he also uploaded on his X (previously Twitter) account, shows a towering hydraulic press pushing numerous goods. The items include musical instruments, paint cans, video gaming consoles, speakers, and sculptures. After pressing into a trumpet, the hydraulic press crushes all of the materials involved, including paint cans and a grand piano.
While the tech company wanted to show how their latest iPad Pro can ‘do everything,’ as Tim wrote on X, “Just imagine all the things it’ll be used to create,” the visuals were misconstrued.
Asif, a British director, wrote, “I enjoy iPads, but I don’t know why anyone thought this ad was a smart idea. It is the most accurate representation of what internet companies do to the arts, to musicians, creators, writers, and filmmakers: squeeze, use, underpay, and grab everything while claiming it was all created by them.” But what’s the ad that’s got them so fired up?
On the job front, Hrithik will next be seen in War 2, the second part of the War franchise, directed by Ayan Mukerji and set in the YRF spy universe. He will compete against Telugu superstar Jr NTR in the sequel. He will also reprise his iconic title role in Krrish 4.
