Save The Tigers 2, the hilarious and well-liked Telugu web series has its second season available on Disney Plus Hotstar OTT today. Examine our review to see if Save The Tigers 2 lives up to the expectations.
Story:
The show picks up where it left off, with Ghanta Ravi (Priyadarshi), Rahul (Abhinav Gomatam), and Vikram (Krishna Chaitanya) being held by the police on suspicion of robbing heroine Hamsalekha (Starrat Kapoor). The actress clears the trio’s names and strikes up an odd friendship with the authorities, but things take an unexpected turn when she approaches the authorities. In the meantime, Rahul is writing a story for Hamsalekha, Ghanta Ravi develops hopes of winning the Corporator seat, and Vikram and Harika (Darshana Banik) are deeply involved in a project. Has everything gone according to plan for them? What responses did their wives have to their behavior? These details are uncovered in the main plot.
Positive Points:
First and foremost, praise is due to Mahi V. Raghav and Pradeep Advaitham, the creators of the show, for their adept handling of the highly anticipated sequel. They skillfully handled the sequel and brought an emotional depth to the entertainment.
Priyadarshi steals the show once more with a superb performance that shines in both the humorous and emotional moments. Abhinav Gomatam is also excellent, throwing clever jabs and having perfect comedic timing. Chaitanya Krishna’s strong performance is impressive. Deviyani Sharma, Pavani Gangireddy, and Jordar Sujata, the female leads, all make significant contributions to the story.
While the last episode is emotionally charged, it is still entertaining. The first three episodes are raucous. Abhinav Gomatam and Priyadarshi have great comic timing, and Seerat Kapoor’s involvement enhances the plot.
The series is entertaining because Rohini adds humor and Mukku Avinash entertains despite having little screen time. The supporting ensemble gives good performances as well.
Negative Points:
Although the show is generally quite good, there are moments when it isn’t as entertaining as it could be, especially in the fourth episode after the first three loud ones. It would have been better to watch if there had been a more deliberate attempt to add humor to these less interesting episodes.
While Seerat Kapoor did a good job portraying the character, there was room for improvement. In a similar vein, Rohini’s character seems underdeveloped in comparison to her first-season role.
Technical Details:
With creative assistance from Mahi V Raghav and Pradeep Advaitham, director Arun Kothapally created a fun and family-friendly television series. The show’s production values are generally good, especially when it comes to the music, cinematography, and editing. However, some of the middle episodes, like the one about 10000 BC, could have used some more seamless editing to keep the story flowing.
Conclusion:
Overall, Save The Tigers 2 Film is a watchable comedy experience, helped along by excellent performances from Priyadarshi and Abhinav Gomatam, the two main actors. Challenges include the show’s sporadic declines in entertainment value, some episodes’ plodding narration, and the sparse comedic moments from characters like Rohini. Even though it isn’t quite as entertaining as the first one, the sequel is still a good choice for a family weekend movie.
